Rockaholix is an a cappella quartet based in Maidenhead and Reading in the Thames Valley, S.E. England. We sing close four-part harmony and whilst our style began within the Barbershop tradition, we are best known for our adaptations of the “rock 'n' roll” classics of the 50’s and 60’s.
Although based in the Thames Valley, we have not been content to stay in our own backyard, and have performed far and wide within the UK and in many places abroad.
Rockaholix have performed in many theatres around the Thames Valley, entertained crowds at the Henley Festival, sung on river boats for wedding receptions, cabaret spots at annual and society dinners, and numerous landmark birthday and garden parties. Highlights have included singing in cabaret to some 5000 diners at the Reading Rivermead “West End Nights” Christmas spectacular.
Internationally Rockaholix have performed at venues in Toronto, Canada; Amsterdam, Holland; Dublin, Bray and Arklow, Ireland; Columbus Ohio, and the Ohio State Fair, USA, Protarus, Cyprus; and Margon in France.
